Outside Looking In

Do you ever wonder what other people view you and your life like?

I was having a conversation with someone I find important in my life and she was saying things about me and what I said that were fully not how I meant them. I told her I think she was perceiving them in a way that correlates to her and not me, she agreed.

It is funny how we do project ourselves onto others. We go through life with our point of view from the things we have gone through throughout out life. You and someone else can go through the exact same thing but have very different takes on what actually happened and how it made you feel.

This is why I have stopped caring what people think of me, it is more a reflection of how they feel about themself versus how they feel about me. Plus who really cares what anyone has to say about my life when it is mine?

I think the best thing you can do is live in a way that feels so true for you. It really does not matter what other people think of what you are doing because at the end of the day you are the only person you need to make happy. When you are on your deathbed you only need to look back at your life and see if you made yourself happy and proud.

I have been thinking a lot about what I want in my life and I am making changes. I do not care to have people or things in my life that do not bring me joy. I do not care to do things with my time that are not exciting to me. I do not see the point of wasting my precious minutes on this Earth with things that are not serving me.

Am I saying that I will always 100% of the time be doing something I love? No. That is not realistic. But the goal is to leave the mediocre life behind and truly go after things that bring me joy.

This might mean I have less of a traditional life than I expected, but that is okay with me. I have big goals and I want what I want. I will not settle until I have what I want.

I truly believe that if you put in the hard work for what you want you will be able to achieve it (within limitations of course). I am a realist and also a dreamer. I know things can come your way when you work for them.

This new year is upon us and so maybe I am thinking of these things more at this time, but I have also had more free time to think about my life recently.

Big big things are on the way for me and my life.

Are you putting in the work for big things to come your way?

With a great deal of hard work and some patience, you can have what you want.

Please do not settle until you get what you want.

Until next time,

-H
